RQI (Resuscitation Quality Improvement)

RQI consists of taking an online course, then coming in to one of our offices to perform the skills testing on the VAM (Voice Assisted Manikin). This is the most popular method for medical professionals to gain their certification card.

1. Take the American Heart Association online course.
2. Hands on skills test with the VAM.
3. Receive your American Heart Association eCard.

CPR class injuries

Pre-existing Injuries - Modified Work Duty

Performing CPR is physically exhausting.
Performing chest compressions on the manikin can hurt your hands, wrists, arms, or body. If you have any pre-existing conditions with your wrists (pain, carpal tunnel, weakness, or injury), we suggest you wait until you are feeling better. Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant.  You should not take the CPR class if you are on modified work duty.

ILT - Instructor Led Training

Some students prefer to take the traditional instructor led training. These courses have an instructor and up to 16 other students in the room.

We offer these courses in San Francisco about once per month.  We do not have many ILT courses since over 98% of our clients prefer the RQI method.
