Are you in the dental field or a student who will be going into the dental field? The American Heart Association course you will need is called BLS.

You can find this course on our home page or in the course catalog. Some speciality dentists may also need ACLS or PALS.

Dentists will also receive CE credits from the Dental Board of California after their course. 

EMT Classes in Bay Area

EMTs And Paramedics

EMTs and paramedics are required to have their American Heart Association BLS certification card. 

Some EMTs and paramedics are also required to have their ACLS and/or PALS certification card. Speak to your supervisor to find out what is required.

There are hundreds of healthcare and medical professionals that are required to have a BLS certification card as part of a work requirement.

It is too difficult to list them all, but basically anyone who is in the medical or healthcare field should at a minimum have their BLS certification card and some are also required to have ACLS, PALS, or NRP.
