Online American Heart Association

Bay Area BLS Courses

About RQI
Instead of spending all day in the classroom, you can now take an online course by the American Heart Association and then come to our office for the skills testing with a VAM (voice assisted manikin). During the skills testing, an instructor will not be present, since the manikin and computer will guide you through your skills.

Traditional Classroom Courses
Some students prefer the traditional classroom with a group of students. If you prefer the traditional classroom setting, we still offer renewal and initial courses for BLS, ACLS, & PALS. Return to our home page for more info.

When does this start
Safety Training Seminars is rolling this out with testing in Concord during the month of April and then opening it to everyone around mid May.

Why do our students LOVE RQI?

Selection: We offer over 4,000 options per month in the Bay Area and Sacramento to take the BLS, ACLS, PALS, or NRP courses.
Ease: You take an online course at home at your convenience and then you skills test with the voice activated manikin.
Certification: You will receive the official American Heart AssociationⒸ card immediately after you finish your skills testing station.
One on One: When you skills test, you will be in the room with just yourself and the manikin. In these times, many people prefer this method instead of group training.
Renew all your courses on the same day: You can look ahead in the schedule and find 2-3 empty spots and register for BLS, ACLS, and PALS – all on the same day.
Free Rescheduling: If you miss your class, you can reschedule with no extra fee.
Convenience: Courses are offered every day of the week, even weekends.
Support: We have full time staff working during the week and all day on Saturday and Sunday to assist with questions.
Where will these classes be held: We are planning on opening 20 locations throughout the Bay Area, East Bay, and Sacramento by beginning of the summer 2021.
