Certification: American Heart Association©. You will receive your eCard on the day of the class. This course is 100% valid for CA Childcare Providers.

About this American Heart Association CPR and First-aid Course.
We do not offer just the CPR or just the First-aid portion for the online course. We only offer the full Heartsaver CPR AED First-aid online course. Also, this course covers all the age groups: adults, children, and infants. The online course emphasizes a lot of info about infants and children, and even if you are mostly concerned about adults, children and infant life-saving skills are very important. Meets Health & Safety Code 1596.866 Child Care Provider training requirements.” Health & Safety Code 1596.866 states that completion certificates issued from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or a training program approved by the Emergency Medical Services Authority are satisfactory. EMSA (Emergency Medical Services Authority) is located in Rancho Cordova and their phone number is 916-322-4336. Childcare providers can call EMSA or Safety Training Seminars regarding any questions regarding EMSA Pediatric CPR and First-aid courses.

Where is my Online Course
The online courses are sent out each day by the end of the business day. If you register for a course after 4 pm, you will receive it the next day. If you register on a Friday after 4 pm, you will receive it on Monday. 
  1. Check your junk mail folder.
  2. Are you with UCSF? These usually take 2 days, since your department has to approve your course.
  3. If you have not received your online course in more than a day, then contact us.

Who should take this CPR & First-aid class
Childcare providers, Teachers (clear credentials), summer camp counselors, coaches, foster care, social workers, maritime (US Coast Guard approved), nannies, parents, grandparents, babysitters (ten years or older), construction, acupuncture students (approved by State of CA Acupuncture Board), and general workplace.

Who should NOT take this CPR & First-aid training
Healthcare & Medical Providers must take the BLS class.

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy
We do not offer refunds after you register for the class. However, you can reschedule by paying the $30 fee each time you need to reschedule.
