Alternative ACLS Renewal - ACLS Heartcode Online
The American Heart Association offers an alternative way for you to receive your ACLS certification card called ACLS Heartcode eLearning. In this course, you do most of the coursework and take the written test on your computer (you can start and stop as needed). Then you come in to our office for the 1 hour skills testing. You would receive the same certification card as if you are taking the regular 6 hour ACLS renewal course. View more info here: ACLS Online Course
Mandatory Precourse Test
Complete the mandatory precourse test, print it out, and bring with you to class. If you do not have a printer, you can save the results as a PDF and show to your instructor on the day of class. Must access this on a computer or tablet, not a mobile device. You must receive a score of 70% or better to take this class. Retake until you pass. You cannot attend without this precourse test printout. The code is ACLS15.

ACLS Book Policy (Copyright 2016, ISBN # 978-1-61669-400-5) $60
The American Heart Association requires all students to bring the current ACLS book to their training class. This is the same policy across the United States and in the Bay Area. This book policy is mandated by the American Heart Association and every training school must follow this policy to maintain their license. The book is not used much in class, but it is used a reference material after your course. If you buy the book from us, you will pick it up on the day of your course. We do not ship the book and you cannot pick up the book prior to class.
CA Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, & EMS personnel only receive CE credits after this course. Ask your instructor on the day of class. You have 30 days after your course to claim your CEs. CMEs are not issued and CEs are not issued to other professions besides CA Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and EMS.
