ACLS Updates for Feb 2021 – New Changes
Precourse Assessment and Precourse Work
Starting Feb 1, 2021, ACLS Renewal and ACLS Initial Students are required to complete the Mandatory Precourse Assessment and Precourse Work. This section takes about 3-4 hours to complete.

New ACLS Student Manual (Copyright 2020, ISBN: 978-1-61669-768-6)
Starting Feb 1, 2021, ACLS Renewal and ACLS Initial Students are required to bring to class the new 2020 ACLS Manual with the new guidelines. The older 2015 book will no longer be valid and will not be accepted.

New CE Credits for CA Nurses
CA Nurses will receive 4 CEs for the ACLS Renewal and 7 CEs for the ACLS Initial from the instructor on the day of the class. CA Nurses will also receive CE credits directly from the American Heart Association after they complete the Precourse Work.
New Course Times
Starting Feb 1st, 2011, the ACLS Renewal will be 4 hours long and the ACLS Initial will be 7 hours long.
