RQI/Online BLS Class
About RQI
Instead of spending all day in a classroom, you can now take an online course by the American Heart AssociationⒸ & then come to our office for the skills testing with a VAM (voice activated manikin). During the skills testing, an instructor will not be present, since the manikin and computer will guide you through the skills.
Traditional Classroom Courses
Some students prefer the traditional classroom with a group of students. If you prefer the traditional classroom setting, we still offer renewal and initial courses for BLS, ACLS, PALS. Return to our home page for more info.
Course Name: BLS
Online Course Length: 2 hours (at your home)
Skills Testing: 1 hour (in our classroom)
Description: CPR (adult, children, & infant), 2 person CPR, AED, bag valve mask
Price: $120 (this includes the online course and skills testing)
Certification: American Heart Association© BLS. You will receive your BLS eCard on the day of the class.
Who should take this BLS course
Doctors, nurses, nursing students, dentists, physical therapists, physician assistants, medical assistants, massage therapists, EMTs, paramedics, lifeguards, firefighters, and medical/healthcare professionals. This online BLS course is valid for BLS renewal or initial students. Even if you are not in the medical field, you can still take this course.
How to complete the BLS CPR Heartcode eLearning Class
We will send you the online course within 1 business day. Complete the BLS online course at least a few days before your course. Arrive to your scheduled city, date and time. Your skills testing takes about 40 minutes and you can only use the machine during your allotted time. If you are going over your time, please call our office.
Are BLS Classes Near Me?
Yes. We offer BLS classes in San Francisco, Redwood City, San Jose, Dublin, Concord, Berkeley, Novato, and Sacramento. Or we can teach classes at your location in the Bay Area.
CE Credits
Log back in to the RQI site to claim your CE credits. Some professions receive CE credits and some do not receive them.
Cancellation Policy
There are no refunds after you register and pay for the course. However, we do offer free rescheduling for the same class. You cannot switch from a BLS RQI class to the regular instructor led course.
Registration
Find a time slot below to register. Once the BLS course class fills up, it disappears from the calendar. We cannot register students over the phone, but you can call us with questions. Some students like to take BLS along with ACLS, PALS or NRP If you choose a date further out, it will be easier for you to find your preferred time slots in a row.
